Disgorge use octave pitch shifters in there music to give an exorcism type feel to there music. Fast paced guitars and often well placed blast beats put this band ahead of most of the scene in the Goregrind genre today. In 1992 the band released its first demo "Cognitive Lust of Mutilation", this demo got them some gratification in the underground scene in California. For three years they worked on writing new material, and in 1995 to early ‘96 they played shows all around the world to widen there fan base.
Then in the later part of 1996 they recorded the first four tracks of “Cranial Impalement”, and then finished the rest of the album later. In 1997 Tony Freithoffer and Eric Flesy left the band to pursue other things. It wasn’t until 1998 that Ben Marlin, bass player, and Diego Sanchez, guitarist, would be recruited onto the ranks.
Disgorge signed with Unique Leader Entertainment, a little after “She Lay Gutted” was released in 1999. It would not be for two years later that this band would show its grueling face again. Then, in 2001, Disgorge released “Consume The Forsaken”. This album was spread world wide by Crash Music inc.
In 2002 front man, Levi Fuselier was put into the ranks, and the band began writing “Parallels of Infinite Torture”. In 2004, Ed Talorda was made as an additional guitarist, then the band was complete.
